Happy 2nd birthday Isabel! Isabel sure knows how to throw a party! Her 2nd birthday was a blast and she is definitely a party animal.

Isabel had some arts and crafts time the other day. She loves to paint, and made us some beautiful pictures! She is so neat about it, if she gets any paint on her hands, she insists you wipe it off before she will continue painting.

Yesterday morning as I was getting ready for work, I went into Isabel's room to check on her. I found her on her bed as she was trying to put her skirt on. She had picked out an outfit (It matched! She does better than her Daddy!) and was trying to put it on herself. A few minutes later as she was watching t.v. in our room she picked out a pair of her Daddy's socks and put them on as well. A trendsetter already, and she isn't even two yet.

The lovely outfit Isabel picked out herself, we left the socks at home. (Excuse our messy room)

Last week during our vacation we took Isabel to Cook's Forest for a few days, she got to experience a little bit of the outdoors and we blew lots and lots of bubbles. This is as close to "roughing it" that we have been in awhile. I'm not 100% sure we are cut out for it.

Playing with bubbles.

Isabel loved her pizza mountain pie and the chocolate from her s'more.

More bubble blowing.

Again, with the bubbles.

Bubbles. Again. I told you we blew a lot of bubbles.

Our family picture before we left the forest. It really was beautiful there and so much more quiet than we are used to.

Today we went to the Pittsburgh zoo and PPG aquarium with Kara and Crue. The kids had a blast and enjoyed all the animals.

Giraffe butts!

I love this picture of Isabel and Crue holding hands, so cute!

Checking out the fish.

The penguins were a big hit with the kids too.

Some of the fish in this aquarium were bigger than Isabel.

It was a fun day, but the kids were definately ready to go home. Isabel was asleep within ten minutes of leaving the zoo.
